I'm a T11 complete spinal injury with limited use of the left hand due to neurological damage, too. I'm 26, 5ft 4 and weigh about 8.5 stone, if that's helpful! I've been injured for 7 years, so have tried a handful of different pieces of equipment and settled on the Struzzo for a number of reasons. - being able to move around the house whilst standing has kept me occupied whilst I stretch - I can move around the kitchen to cook etc, it will even go outside on very smooth, level ground like tarmac - and I feel it keeps me involved with others in the house, as I'm not stuck in one place. I'm a full time athlete which means I go away for long periods of time, sometimes not standing for 3-4 weeks. I don't dread coming back to the Struzzo, however, because I know I can achieve a controlled and gentle reintroduction phase each time.
Drawbacks - you will need space to manoeuvre it so won't squeeze through narrow corridors/doorways in old houses. It also needs space to turn corners or turn 360, so take time to get used to the driving controls and practice reversing!
I'd give the struzzo 4.5/5 stars - it suits my needs down to the ground
