Motomed movement therapy bikes are a valued part of our therapy offer at Nightingale Hammerson. We use them in collaboration with videos on screen so residents can cycle to locations all around the world! We find the ability to grade activity from passive to active particularly useful including hand and leg functions. Many of our residents use them to warm up or cool down at the start and end of their therapy session. Whilst increasing strength, range of movement and exercise tolerance, they also allow interaction, reminiscence (places visited on the screen) and social opportunities. We recently contacted medimotion and can’t speak highly enough of the fantastic customer service and communication.
