Impressed with the positive effect

I have owned a Motomed for almost 20 months since being affected with a sudden T6 paraplegia due to advanced prostate and spinal cancer.
My husband is an experienced rehabilitation nurse and has always used this type of reablement equipment but as a lay-person I never really understood the impact on my motivation and muscle tone until a few months into my rehab at home. Since using my Motomed daily for an hour, I have been impressed with the positive effect it has had on my leg muscle spasticity as my legs no longer involuntarily kick-out in bed at night so I have a restful night’s sleep.
Using it daily and seeing the bio-feedback on progress, no matter how small, has also inspired me to keep going even during some dark days related to my cancer.
I am so impressed that I have just upgraded to the Loop light so that I can exercise my arms in addition to my legs. My health and wellbeing is increasingly important to me as my journey with being a paraplegic continues.
