100% of patients felt they received more rehabilitation

The Therapy Improvement project assessed how a MOTOmed could impact additional therapy time, patient satisfaction and patient outcomes. The results were:-
•Over 80% of patients enjoyed their session on the therapy bike.
•100% of patients felt they received more rehabilitation compared to normal
• Individual patients (and staff also) commented the therapy bike significantly improved patient mood and engagement with staff.
•Increased time exercising for individual patients up to an additional hour without requiring direct supervision from a therapist
Patient diaries have demonstrated patients have increased time/distance/power output over course of using the therapy bike
